Logistics Engineer

Van Oord Offshore Wind UK (MPI Offshore) is seeking a skilled Logistics Engineer to join their team in Stokesley, Middlesbrough. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain customs and logistics plans
  • Work with marine hire specialists to secure transport for key packages and appoint associated agents
  • Take ownership of the logistics scope and provide innovative solutions to complex problems
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics or supply chain, or relevant experience
  • Experience in a similar international logistic role, with offshore project organisation
  • Knowledge of shipping terms, transport documents, and contracts
  • Familiarity with logistics-related matters such as trade and customs compliance, hazardous goods, and Incoterms
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to translate concepts to practice and present in a structured commercial manner
  • Willingness to travel internationally to project locations and the Netherlands office
