This is a hands-on as well as strategic role, requiring the ability to review or establish processes, strategically plan for workforce development, and deliver operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to maximise the effectiveness of the business
  • Ensure the efficient use of resources, including budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation
  • Lead and motivate a team of professionals to achieve business objectives
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth and improvement
  • Implement lean management principles to minimise waste and maximise value for customers

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in operational management, preferably in a healthcare services organisation
  • Strong leadership, management, and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work under pressure and take a problem-solving approach to work

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Adult Care or equivalent
  • Meets the requirements of a Registered Manager in line with HIS/CQC regulations

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a healthcare services organisation
  • 7 years of demonstrated experience of a progressively responsible nature
  • A wide range of knowledge and experience in Operational Management, Facilities Management, Project Management, and Personnel Management
