About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our Business and Transformation team as the Head of Quality Assurance. This is a senior leadership role that will play a critical part in supporting the delivery of directorate and trust objectives.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of quality and operational improvement strategy, working closely with clinical teams to identify and address variances in clinical practice and outcomes. They will be an expert in monitoring clinical and operational outcomes and will use this knowledge to drive service change and improvement.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience in developing effective teams in a clinical setting
  • Relevant experience of team management at a senior level in the NHS or within an equivalent healthcare setting
  • Experience of driving impactful service change and improvement
  • Able to travel to meetings as required

Qualifications

  • Educated to a Masters level or demonstrable knowledge at the same level
