As a key member of our Tactical Planning Team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our Bread, Other Bakery & Primary Distribution weekly planning process meets our high standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in monitoring daily performance, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with our Operational & Commercial teams to drive continuous growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the Weekly Planner spreadsheet to optimize performance and resolve issues.
  • Chair daily operations conference calls to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Escalate customer-facing issues to Supply Chain & Commercial stakeholders, working closely with them to find solutions.
  • Identify and implement corrective actions in collaboration with bakery & head office teams.
  • Support the strategic planning of key events, such as Christmas, Easter, and product launches, ensuring these events are incorporated into the Week Ahead planning process.
  • Maintain base data in the planning systems and operate the Tactical Planning shift rota, providing Out of Hours contact and holiday cover as agreed.

We're looking for a highly analytical individual with excellent problem-solving skills, experience in Supply Chain planning, and proficiency in IT & spreadsheet software. If you're passionate about driving business growth and improving processes, we'd love to hear from you.
