Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to join our team at Wycombe Heights Golf Centre in Loudwater, near High Wycombe.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to work for Promote People Ltd, a renowned operator of golf courses and leisure facilities in the UK. As Business Development Director, you will be responsible for driving sales growth through direct engagement with customers and identifying new business opportunities.

You will lead a sales executive to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and business objectives. Your role will also involve building relationships with Heads of Departments and facilitating effective communication within the organization.

Sales Objectives:

  • Engage in direct sales activities from prospecting to lead conversions
  • Build new business opportunities while nurturing existing relationships
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets for events/functions, memberships, and overall golf

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year's experience selling events and event space
  • A strong understanding of golf club and leisure operations
  • At least 1 year's experience within the golf & leisure industry
  • Proactive and able to demonstrate a proven record of delivering results
  • Proven leadership experience within a Team Lead or Manager role

Salary:

The salary for this position is £31,000 per annum, with an on-target earnings (OTE) potential of £37,500 per annum.
