About the Role

As a Performance Optimization Engineer at Randstad Technologies Recruitment, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the success of our clients in the diesel engine sector. With your expertise in performance and emissions calibration, you will work closely with other engineers to achieve high-quality results.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Performance Optimization Engineer who can help us optimize diesel engine performance and reduce emissions. Your strong understanding of diesel engine operating principles, performance characteristics, and emissions control technologies will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct comprehensive testing of diesel engine performance and emissions parameters, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  2. Analyze test data to identify areas for improvement and optimization, focusing on performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions reduction.
  3. Develop and implement calibration strategies to enhance engine performance and emissions characteristics.
  4. Prepare clear and concise technical reports summarizing test results, analysis findings, and failure investigations.
  5. Collaborate effectively with other engineers, technicians, and project teams to ensure successful project execution.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in diesel engine performance and emissions calibration.
  • Strong understanding of diesel engine operating principles, performance characteristics, and emissions control technologies.
  • Proven experience in conducting engine test procedures and analyzing test data.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
