About the Role

Entech Technical Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Performance Calibration Specialist to join our team in Stafford. This is a long-term contract opportunity that offers a competitive salary of £40-£43 per hour (FCSA Umbrella) or PAYE at approximately £30-£32 per hour.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled engineer with expertise in engine calibration, performance, and emissions development. As a Senior Performance and Emissions Engineer, you will be responsible for managing component validation plans, coordinating day-to-day activity, and conducting technical reporting. You will also support the design function through FMEA attendance and collaborate with platform teams based at the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing engine calibration strategies for diesel engines
  • Managing component validation plans and ensuring compliance with quality standards
  • Coordinating day-to-day activity and management of test and analysis activity
  • Conducting technical reporting and presenting findings to stakeholders
  • Supporting the design function through FMEA attendance and collaboration with global facilities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in engine calibration, performance, or emissions development
  • Strong technical skills and ability to communicate complex information effectively
  • Experience working with electronically controlled engines
