Responsibilities:

  • Diesel engine performance and emissions calibration for various projects within a multi-skilled team.
  • Mechanical verification and validation of engine components and systems.
  • Define and manage component validation plans.
  • Coordinate day-to-day engineering activity and manage test and analysis activity.
  • Perform failure analysis and defect resolution using industry-standard methods.
  • Conduct technical reporting.
  • Meet compliance with quality standards by following established procedures.
  • Support design function through FMEA attendance.
  • Collaborate with platform teams at global facilities.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • Experience in engine performance and emissions calibration, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of emissions measurement techniques, worldwide emission regulations, and emissions measurement hardware.
  • Knowledge of control system development, fuel system optimization, and turbocharger matching.
  • PC literacy and excellent use of MS Office components.
  • High standard of written technical reporting.
  • Knowledge of industrial diesel engine systems.

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
