Performance & Emissions Engineer Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Engine Calibration Expert to join our team at AXISCADES. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for calibrating diesel engines to meet performance and emissions standards. Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will work on a wide variety of projects within a small multi-skilled team. Key responsibilities include:
- Calibrating diesel engines to meet performance and emissions standards
- Mechanical verification and validation of engine components and systems
- Defining and managing component validation plans
- Coordination of day-to-day engineering activity and management of test and analysis activity
- Failure analysis and defect resolution using industry-standard methods
- Technical reporting
- Conducting all work to Perkins operating procedures and local work methods in order to meet compliance with quality standards
- Support to the design function is required through FMEA attendance
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have an engineering degree or equivalent qualification/experience. You should also have extensive experience in engine performance and emissions calibration, data analysis, and reporting. In addition, knowledge of emissions measurement techniques, worldwide emission regulations, and emissions measurement hardware is essential. Familiarity with control system development, fuel system optimization, and turbocharger matching is also desirable. Your technical reporting skills should be of a high standard, and you should be proficient in MS Office components.
Salary and Benefits:
This role comes with an estimated annual salary of $80,000 - $110,000, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. As a member of our team, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
