About the Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Diesel Engine Specialist to join our team at Randstad Technologies Recruitment. As a key member of our diesel engine sector team, you will be responsible for optimizing diesel engine performance and reducing emissions.

About the Job

The successful candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine performance and emissions calibration, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with other engineers and technicians to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct comprehensive testing of diesel engine performance and emissions parameters, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  2. Analyze test data to identify areas for improvement and optimization, focusing on performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions reduction.
  3. Develop and implement calibration strategies to enhance engine performance and emissions characteristics.
  4. Prepare clear and concise technical reports summarizing test results, analysis findings, and failure investigations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in diesel engine performance and emissions calibration.
  • Strong understanding of diesel engine operating principles, performance characteristics, and emissions control technologies.
  • Proven experience in conducting engine test procedures and analyzing test data.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary range: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
