Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Behaviour Support Worker to join our team at a school in Sandbach. The successful candidate will have experience working with children and young people who display challenging behaviour and be able to provide person-centred support to individuals with complex needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- To deliver person-centred support to individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours
- To work with children and young people who require 1:1 support due to various reasons
- To use de-escalation techniques to manage difficult situations
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working with children and young people who display challenging behaviour
- Ability to build positive relationships with students
- Excellent communication skills
- Empathy and understanding
- Willingness to enhance skills through professional training and development
Salary and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, plus benefits including enhanced DBS clearance and professional training opportunities.
