Job Role: We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Support Worker to join our team in Sandbach, supporting an individual with autism and learning disabilities. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in promoting independence, dignity, and well-being, while engaging the service user in various activities and promoting their interests.

About the Job: The successful candidate will have experience in supporting individuals with complex needs, be able to work independently, and have excellent communication skills. Knowledge of positive behaviour support, LD, and autism would be advantageous, but all training will be provided. The role requires flexibility, with shifts available during the day and night.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  1. Support the service user in daily tasks, promoting independence and dignity
  2. Engage the service user in leisure pursuits and health appointments
  3. Maintain accurate records and reports, as required
  4. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement person-centred plans
  5. Support the service user in maintaining their home, promoting independence and safety
Salary and Benefits:
The hourly rate for this role is £12.50 (Enhanced hourly rate on all Bank Holidays). In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including opportunities for professional development and training. The role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
