Sales Professional

Vertical Advantage is seeking a skilled Sales Professional to join our Off Trade / Grocery Sales Team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in FMCG sales, with a strong ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing growth plans, managing sales into accounts, and supporting the team with P&L and commercial negotiations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage customer strategic business plans for convenience, including aligned promo, activation, and investment plans.
- Support the Off Trade team in building strong, sustainable customer relationships with grocery buyers and their surrounding teams.
- Proactively manage sales into accounts, ensuring budgets and targets are achieved.
- Support the team with P&L and commercial negotiations.
- Provide clear, up-to-date inputs into the weekly and monthly S&OP forecasting process.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of sales experience within FMCG.
- Strong selling ability and experience selling into and managing grocery accounts.
- Proficiency in using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Good negotiating skills.
- A positive, "can-do" attitude and the ability to work to deadlines.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and proactivity to seek new opportunities.
- Great multitasking and organizational ability.
About You
You'll have a demonstrable track record in FMCG sales, working with UK retailers. Enthusiastic, pragmatic, and resilient, you can demonstrate your agility to transition at pace, work to tight deadlines, communicate effectively, and motivate team members around you to help support your objectives.
