Learning and Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our team at Language Matters. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for crafting and delivering engaging training content to our employees across 8 countries.

Your main tasks will involve setting up and running inductions, tailoring training to suit each area, and working closely with local HR teams. You will need to be a pro with digital learning tools and culturally aware to make sure training hits the mark in diverse regions.

We are looking for someone passionate, who will get people excited about and involved in workshops, LinkedIn Learning, and internal channels by chatting with colleagues about learning and development. You will need to be able to develop and conduct workshops, both in-person and online, and have strong project management abilities, adept at managing conflicting priorities and delivering multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and running inductions
  • Tailoring training to suit each area
  • Working closely with local HR teams
  • Tweaking and enhancing training programs

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a learning and development position, preferably within an international, consumer-facing, cross-functional organization
  • Proficiency in advanced Dutch is essential
  • Proven ability to develop and conduct workshops, both in-person and online
  • Strong project management abilities, adept at managing conflicting priorities and delivering multiple projects simultaneously
