About the Role

Falkirk Council is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Venue Assistant. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our venues, including Callendar House, Kinneil Museum, and The Hippodrome.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with cleaning, set-ups, and security operations
  • Support the daily operation of the venues, including event setup and breakdown
  • Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with the events team to deliver successful events
  • Undertake work outside normal office hours, including weekends on a regular basis

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role or events industry preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
