We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Independent Sexual Violence Advisor in the North Cumberland area.

About the Role

This challenging yet rewarding role requires effective communication, empathy, and strong organizational skills.

As a key member of our multi-agency framework consisting of the Bridgeway SARC and local partnership responses to sexual violence, you will provide high-quality proactive support to victims of sexual violence, including children and young people.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver a service to those at highest risk and need.
  • Work within a collaborative framework to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor the care pathway, perform risk assessments, and help clients access their rights and other required services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Extensive experience of working with victims of sexual violence and other service providers and agencies in a statutory, voluntary, social, or community setting.
  • Strong crisis management skills and an understanding of the needs of victims experiencing sexual violence.
  • Ability to plan and deliver caseloads effectively.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
