Job Summary

We are seeking a caring and compassionate Personal Support Assistant to join our team at Waythrough in Carlisle, Cumbria. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for helping individuals maintain their tenancy and independence in the community.

About the Role

  • Supporting individuals with mental health issues to develop domestic and finance management skills
  • Assisting with accessing work, leisure or educational opportunities
  • Helping individuals to come up with a personal support plan that will see them achieve their goals and aspirations

Requirements

  • No relevant experience is required as full training will be provided
  • Candidates with an understanding of mental health issues and/or lived experience would be welcomed
  • A caring and compassionate nature and empathy and enthusiasm for helping others
