The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals who work with children and young people in care. This will involve:
- Ensuring the high-quality performance and practice of the team, balancing quality with performance measures.
- Working in partnership with colleagues, parents, and carers to deliver child-centered, purposeful systemic practice.
- Seeking feedback from children, young people, and families through quality assurance work, learning from complaints and compliments.
- Completing routine quality assurance work to embed learning within team culture and practice.
- Monitoring practice and individual/team performance using performance dashboards and reports.
- Prioritizing performance management tasks to drive continuous improvement, learning, and development.
To be successful in this role, the candidate will need:
- A Social Work degree or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of UK legislation relevant to children and families.
- Experience of working with children, young people, and their families.
