Job Title: Residential Support Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at The Cambian Group. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support and care to children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure the needs of children and young people are met.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and young people, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring the needs of children and young people are met.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment, adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build positive relationships with children, young people, and colleagues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
