The Area Accounting Manager will oversee accounting activities performed by Accounting Departments in our Region to ensure compliance with US GAAP, global policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Execute review procedures to ensure timely and accurate posting of global accounting entries submitted by CHQ in all countries.
  • Participate in the monthly review of third-party outlays and Intercompany entries to validate compliance with our Global Policies and Procedures.
  • Support countries on control environment evaluation by performing Annual Internal Control Evaluations and discuss action plans to mitigate deficiencies.
  • Support Country Controllers and Accounting staff to ensure proper application of Company's Policies, Standards, and Accounting Guidance.
  • Collaborate with Country Controllers and Regional Accounting team on Accounting-related Global requests and information requirements.
  • Participate in Accounting Process reviews to identify improvement opportunities for productivity and efficiency.
  • Provide financial and accounting expertise to regional business operations management teams.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of financial policies and procedures.
  • Support Country Controllers on Internal Control Evaluations and Internal/External Audits.
  • Contribute to decisions regarding financial strategy.
  • Support the Regional Controller on the coordination of the Annual Budgeting process across the Region.
