About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Receptionist to join our team at Suffolk Primary Care. As a key member of our practice team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations, ensuring seamless communication with the clinical team.
  • Process patient information, including registration, updates, and data entry, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and other correspondence, ensuring timely and secure delivery.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks, such as photocopying, filing, and data entry, to support the smooth operation of the practice.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure continuity of care, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies.

Requirements

  • GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths
  • Desirable experience in a GP practice or similar healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in using SystmOne or similar clinical systems
