Veterinary Receptionist

Stowe Veterinary Centre are a busy independent hospital practice, providing on-site emergency services for their registered clients’ pets 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.

We are now looking for a part-time receptionist to join our Client Services Team. He/she will be required to work between our busy Stowmarket clinic and the more quiet Needham Market surgery, so having your own transport is essential.

He/she will enjoy being part of a caring team and helping people, be that clients, their pets or colleagues.

**Main duties would include**:

- Greeting and welcoming clients and their companions during normal opening hours, and those who are attending an emergency appointment when the surgery is closed.
- Answering the telephone, booking appointments, taking payments and dealing with general enquiries
- Accurately recording client and animal information on our IT system
- Other administrative and supportive tasks as required.
