Key Stage 2 Learning Support Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Key Stage 2 Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a specialist primary school in Leyland. As an Education Support Specialist, you will work with students, teachers, and other support staff to provide tailored support to pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH) and other associated learning difficulties.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to Key Stage 2 pupils with SEMH and other additional needs.
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and other support staff to create a conducive learning environment.
Essential Requirements:
- A genuine interest in supporting children with SEMH and a commitment to their development.
- Relevant experience in a special educational needs or care setting is desirable.
- Level 2, 3 or 4 teaching assistant qualifications or a relevant degree are highly advantageous.
