About the Role:

The Primary Learning Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the education and well-being of Key Stage 2 pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties in a specialist primary setting in Leyland. This role will involve providing 1:1 support and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, and teaching staff.

**Responsibilities Include:**
  1. Providing tailored support to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEMH difficulties.
  2. Collaborating with teaching staff to ensure effective learning strategies are implemented.
  3. Contributing to the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment.

  • A passionate and committed individual with experience in a special educational needs or care setting.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as Level 2, 3 or 4 teaching assistant qualifications or a relevant degree honours.
