Fire Safety Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a diligent Fire Consultant to join our Fire Safety department at Brandon James Ltd. as a Fire Safety Compliance Specialist.


The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring code compliance with current building regulations for new residential and commercial builds. This is a primarily remote position, with travel to sites as required, unless you prefer to work from one of our UK offices.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough Fire Safety Inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Develop and implement fire safety management systems in accordance with British Fire Safety Standards.
  • Review and implement requirements under the new building safety management bill to ensure seamless compliance.
  • Prepare comprehensive Fire Management Plans to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
  • Perform detailed Fire Risk Assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend mitigation strategies.

Requirements
  • A minimum of MIFireE or equivalent qualification in fire safety or a related field.
  • A relevant degree in fire safety or a related field, preferably with a background in Building Control.
