About this Job

As a Principal Safety Specialist at BAE Systems, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of employees and the public. You will be responsible for developing and implementing explosion safety strategies to minimize risks and prevent accidents.

Main Responsibilities

The Principal Safety Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing explosion safety strategies
  • Conducting DSEAR risk assessments and compliance activities
  • Mentoring and developing junior engineers
  • Reviewing and producing process and policy documentation

The successful candidate will have a strong background in explosives engineering and be able to communicate complex information effectively to stakeholders.

BAE Systems offers a competitive salary of £60,000-£80,000 per annum, plus benefits including a pension scheme, annual leave allowance, and Share Incentive Plan.
