About the Role

The NHS is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to lead the development of a culturally competent Psychological Therapy Service for individuals at risk of mental states (ARMS) and those experiencing first episode psychosis (FEP).

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with clinical colleagues to ensure the effective delivery of psychological interventions within the Early Intervention Team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the Psychological Therapy Service for ARMS and FEP individuals.
  • Collaborate with clinical colleagues to deliver effective psychological interventions.
  • Provide specialist expertise in managing complex cases, service development, evaluation, and quality improvement.

Requirements

  • Doctorate level training in clinical psychology.
  • Accredited membership of an appropriate psychological therapy professional body.
  • Experience working with diverse client groups, including those with complex needs.
  • Knowledge of contemporary legislation relating to mental health services.
