Clinical Specialist in Posture and Mobility

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Specialist to join our Kent Wheelchair Service team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will work closely with service users, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality wheelchair services. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge, working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to work in a customer-focused service, balancing your clinical caseload with excellent organizational and communication skills. You will assess the mobility needs of adults and children with complex needs, prescribe manual and powered wheelchairs, and supervise junior staff. You will also contribute to the development of internal training resources and liaise with service user groups and stakeholders.
Key Requirements
- Experience working with patients with long-term or deteriorating medical conditions
- Confidence in using digital systems and software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Registration with the HCPC as an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Clinical Scientist, or registration as a Nurse with the NMC
- A full current UK driving licence for a manual transmission vehicle
