The role of a Mobility Specialist Therapist with Equals One Ltd involves assessing the mobility needs of adults and children with complex needs. This includes prescribing manual and powered wheelchairs, as well as associated posture management and pressure management accessories.

You will work closely with clinical and operational colleagues to deliver contractual service performance of a high quality that demonstrates a personalised approach with measured outcomes. This will involve liaising with service user groups and other stakeholders, including local voluntary and statutory services, to facilitate joint working where appropriate.

As a Mobility Specialist Therapist, you will be responsible for supervising junior staff and providing clinical guidance to other non-clinical colleagues in the service. You will also contribute to the development of internal training resources and provide support for internal and external training programmes.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills, as well as the ability to manage a varied workload. Experience of working with patients with long-term or deteriorating medical conditions would be advantageous.

The salary for this position is estimated at around £48,116 per year, based on the location and job requirements. In addition to a competitive salary, you can expect a range of benefits, including company pension scheme, 25 days holiday, childcare voucher scheme, and free on-site parking.
