CPCS Blue Card Mobile Crane Specialist

The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Operating mobile cranes in accordance with manufacturer's instructions
- Ensuring compliance with road traffic regulations
- Using personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed
- Deploying outriggers on level ground
- Inspecting and setting the rated capacity limiter and indicator
- Maintaining proper manual handling techniques
- Communicating effectively with site managers and project managers
- Refusing pressure to perform unsafe tasks
- Applying knowledge from reports and duty charts
- Awareness of wind and climatic effects
- Preventing hazardous situations
- Operating fire suppression systems
- Safely accessing and exiting the crane
- Conducting training sessions on specific crane models
- Improving operational efficiency
Required qualifications and skills for this role include:
- A current driver's license
- An up-to-date HGV Class C license
- A valid blue CPCS card with mobile crane operator authorization
- Experience operating mobile cranes
- Understanding of wind and climatic conditions
- Knowledge of road traffic regulations
