At DeGould, Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Director to join our team and lead our sales strategy. The successful candidate will have experience selling hardware and software solutions to large automotive customers in Europe and the US.

About the Role

The Commercial Director will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and margin targets. This will involve strengthening prospecting and managing complex sales processes to build out a long-term sales pipeline, as well as reporting on key metrics to monitor performance.

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic sales approach to drive revenue growth.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage and optimize the sales pipeline to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Business Development: Build and maintain relationships with OEM clients to expand account business and identify new opportunities.
  • Sales Enquiries: Prepare quotations, arrange product demos, and develop SOW/SLA documents in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with company objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the Commercial team to deliver sales targets and strengthen customer engagement.
Requirements

We are looking for a strong leader with a proven track record in B2B technical sales and account management, preferably within the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, financial acumen, negotiation skills, and a Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer studies.

Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
