About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy and Public Affairs Advisor to join our team at Toonbankrecords. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping our public affairs strategy and influencing policy decisions that impact our industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor parliamentary activity, consultations, and policy developments to inform our campaign and communications activity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including politicians, policymakers, and industry experts.
  • Develop and implement effective public affairs and campaign strategies to raise awareness of critical issues and promote our organization's interests.
  • Provide strategic advice on key reputational and media issues, and help build our voice of authority in the industry.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of UK political systems and processes, and how public affairs and campaign tactics operate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify news angles and provide strategic advice on key issues.
  • Proven track record of success in public affairs and policy roles.
