Job Title: Health and Wellbeing Officer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated individual to support the development and delivery of our new project to support and assist Councils in Worcestershire to champion the health and wellbeing agenda.
The postholder will provide support to inspire and facilitate activity in new areas, identify and share best practice, and create opportunities for interventions available to all, ultimately to deliver action on local health and wellbeing priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help improve the health and wellbeing of Worcestershire residents by providing support to town and parish councils.
- Develop a programme of support to facilitate health and wellbeing activities to support town and parish councils.
- Develop new working relationships and partnership activity across the statutory and voluntary sector to facilitate positive health and wellbeing outcomes in local communities.
Requirements:
The role will require a mix of home working and possible work in the Worcestershire Community. The post holder will show flexibility and be committed to working outside core hours.
Secondment and Job Sharing will be considered for this role.
