Job Summary

The Highland Council is seeking a Safety and Wellbeing Manager Assistant to support the Occupational Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager in developing and maintaining a strong and positive health and safety culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating hazards.
  • Collaborate with the Occupational Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager to promote a positive health and safety culture.
Requirements
  • Minimum NEBOSH certificate or equivalent.
  • Working towards the NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a Local Authority or multidisciplinary organisation.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately £24,500 - £26,500 per annum, depending on experience. The Highland Council offers a range of benefits, including competitive salaries, pension schemes, and opportunities for professional development.
