Construction Safety Coordinator

We require a skilled Construction Safety Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in health and safety management and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
£45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Clothing and Equipment: Provision and use of clothing and equipment in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
- Legal Compliance: Ensuring compliance with legal requirements affecting health, safety, and welfare, and ensuring adequacy of facilities provided.
- Inspections and Audits: Assisting the H&S Manager with regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure workplace safety.
- H&S Management: Assisting the Health and Safety Manager in inductions, toolbox talks, task briefings, and method statements.
- Collaboration: Collaborating with various departments to ensure H&S considerations are integrated into operational procedures and project planning.
- Safety Reporting: Adhering to the company safety reporting procedures.
- Training and Development: Identifying training requirements and providing subsequent training for all levels of employees.
- Communication: Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager responsible for safety.
- Environmental Awareness: Awareness of environmental issues within the construction company environment and adherence to the Environmental Manual policy and objectives.
