Support Assistant for Children with Learning Difficulties

Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated Support Assistant to work with children facing learning difficulties in a warm and welcoming school in Summertown. As a Support Assistant, you will provide individualized support to children with various learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Dyslexia, Speech Impediments, and Asperger's.

The ideal candidate will have some experience working with children and be eager to learn and develop their skills. The class teacher has specialized interventions designed to meet the needs of the children, and you will work closely with them to provide support and help the children achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to children with learning difficulties
  • Work closely with the class teacher to develop and implement support plans
  • Assist with daily activities and routines to help children with their learning needs
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and teachers to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Psychology or related field
  • Experience working with children with learning difficulties
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
