About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support children aged 3 to 16 with moderate learning difficulties, as well as children with autism and communication difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students both academically and emotionally, helping them achieve their full potential.
  • Encourage positive social interactions and help students build effective relationships with their peers.
  • Enhance students' communication skills and provide pastoral care.
  • Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive classroom where every student feels valued.

Requirements:

  • Caring and nurturing attitude with a positive attitude and a desire to help others.
  • Previous experience working with children and/or adults with additional needs would be beneficial.
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as Psychology, Criminology or Health & Social Care, would also be useful.

What You'll Gain:
