Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to drive transparency, standardization, and consistency across our Submarines network and systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a critical national project and shape the future of complex systems.

This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced governance and assurance professional to lead compliance and quality initiatives within a complex software environment. As Engineering Assurance and Governance Lead, you will play a key role in identifying and mitigating emerging or existing compliance risks related to engineering and quality standards. You will develop and implement a risk-based audit schedule to support inspections and recertification processes, collaborate with stakeholders to review and improve the T&FC Operational Framework and Code of Practice, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate process performance and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level in a STEM-related subject, with proven experience of managing engineering and quality governance activities within a complex software environment. They will have knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, exposure to engineering management plans/business management systems/operational frameworks, and excellent communication skills.
