Electronics Design Engineer Specialist
About the RoleThis Electronics Design Engineer Specialist will design and develop electronic circuits, firmware, and software for lighting systems used in military environments. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of analogue and digital design, including microprocessors/microcontrollers.
The role involves working on new design projects and supporting existing production. Responsibilities include detailed electronic circuit design, simulation, and design verification testing. PCB layout using Altium Designer software is also required.
Requirements- Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar
- At least 5 years' experience in hardware design within a relevant industry
- Strong knowledge of analogue and digital design, including microprocessors/microcontrollers
- Firmware development in C
- Knowledge of design for Military/Avionics applications, including EMI/EMC specifications
Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, dependent on experience
