Electrical Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Penna, based onsite in Barrow-in-Furness. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and validating electrical and electronic communication & control systems for a leading submarine programme.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in complex engineering industries and expertise in communications systems or control & instrumentation. A degree in a relevant STEM discipline (e.g., Electrical/Electronic Engineering) or equivalent experience is essential.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to the success of our project. You will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading large lab areas, managing infrastructure, cabling, configuration, and commissioning cutting-edge equipment.
The estimated salary range for this position is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, reflective of your experience and expertise. We offer a generous benefits package, including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave, and a Company Share Incentive Plan.
