Electrical & Instrumentation Project Specialist

This is a permanent position within the Test & Facilities (T&F) Hardware Team, responsible for testing and acceptance of electrical/electronic communication & control systems for the Dreadnought submarine build.

  • Installation and setup of Comms and C&I test facilities
  • Design and implementation of Test Infrastructure and Hardware
  • Production of technical documents and reports
  • Execution of testing and commissioning of installed systems in high assurance engineering environment
  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Participation in design reviews and factory acceptance tests
  • Maintenance of health, safety, and conduct practices
Job Requirements:
  • Degree in relevant STEM discipline or equivalent experience (Electrical/Electronic)
  • Technical background in complex engineering industries
  • Knowledge of at least one area: Communications Systems (VOIP networks, Broadcast (PA) or trunked radio systems) or Control & Instrumentation (Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Fanuc PLCs)
