Job SummaryAs an Advanced Practitioner, you will be responsible for participating in the Emergency Duty Team (EDT) rota and undertaking a variety of sessions, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
You will identify and assess risk levels, determine the need for protection, and decide on the most appropriate method and level of intervention.
Awareness of services and resources is essential, and you will use them effectively to maintain individuals and families in need of emergency support until the next working day.
Liaison with daytime colleagues and other services/agencies will be a key aspect of this role, with a focus on open and accurate communication.
Developing effective relationships with clients, their families, and carers is crucial, and you will communicate in an appropriate, open, and straightforward manner.
Safeguarding of children and adults is a top priority, and you will act in accordance with policies and procedures.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records is also essential, in line with policies and procedures.
RequirementsA professional Social Work qualification or equivalent is required for this role.
