Advanced Clinical Practitioner for Emergency Department

We are seeking an exceptional Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our dynamic team in the Emergency Department at West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. The RoleThis exciting opportunity offers a challenging and rewarding experience for an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based care, utilising current research findings and best practices. Your expertise will be essential in developing protocols and guidelines, as well as writing reports for senior management.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, demonstrating a high degree of autonomy and complex decision-making skills.
- Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to enhance patient experiences and improve outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver effective care plans.
- Develop and implement protocols and guidelines to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Write reports for senior management to inform strategic decision-making.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
Professional registration with either NMC, GPhC, or HCPC.Possession of a 1st degree in a clinical field (e.g., Nursing, physiotherapy) with a minimum 2:2 classification.Possession of an MSc in Advanced Practice or recognised equivalent by HEE Centre Advancing Practice.Non-Medical Prescribing (v300) if appropriate to registered profession/role.Significant post-qualification experience (minimum 4 years) in a relevant clinical field.Evidence of continued professional development following MSc completion.Evidence of recent teaching, mentorship, and supervision of staff.Evidence of quality improvement methodology and audit experience.Evidence of involvement in change management.We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated annual salary of £52,200 - £65,000 depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including staff car parking, a regular shuttle bus service, and access to training and development opportunities.
