Xenon Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Residential Site Development Lead to manage the construction of 18x detached homes in Canterbury, Kent.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in site management, preferably within the Residential Developer sector. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project, from preparation to completion, ensuring that all units meet the required standards prior to NHBC inspection.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of site personnel and subcontractors. A strong understanding of health and safety protocols is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the construction process from start to finish
  • Leading a team of site personnel and subcontractors
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Coordinating with external bodies, including Building Control, HSE, Utilities, and Service providers and NHBC
  • Preparing and presenting regular progress reports to the Contracts Manager

About You:

  • Circa 5+ years' experience in site management, preferably in the Residential Developer sector
  • Holding the correct CITB qualifications (CSCS Card, SMSTS, First Aid at Work)
  • Experience working on similar schemes an advantage, but not necessary
  • Proven ability to control multiple subcontractor packages and direct labour
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

Salary: £250 - £300 per day
