Job Summary:
The Clinical Director for Pathology at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust is a senior leadership role that requires a dynamic and innovative clinical leader to shape the strategic direction for the pathology service. This position provides professional leadership and guidance for all pathology staff, driving change and successfully achieving results to deliver a patient-focused, cost-effective, and high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the pathology directorate.
  • Implement plans for the provision of pathology services across the trust.
  • Work closely with the Care Group Director of Operations and Nursing/Healthcare Professionals.

Requirements:
  • Successful managerial experience within a relevant healthcare setting.
  • Ability to drive and achieve change.
  • Experience of involvement with strategic planning processes.
