Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Secretary to join our team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator to provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to the ADHD Service.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a healthcare setting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

About the Role
  • Provide administrative support to the medical team, including transcribing discharge summaries, clinic letters, and other correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate patient records on the Trust's electronic database (RIO) and ensure that all outgoing post is dispatched promptly.
  • Liaise with consultants, teams, and outside agencies to organize outpatient clinics and meetings.

This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a busy environment.
