Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Planner to join our team at British American Tobacco. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for executing activities to support the delivery of Cash, Cost, Service, and SNO KPIs for the assigned DRBU.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute firm orders within lead-time for suppliers while maintaining target inventory levels and optimal supplier price.
- Monitor, action, and resolve suppliers' exceptions.
- Collaborate with the master planner and suppliers on purchase orders within lead-time.
- Monitor and action inventory at risk of obsolescence.
- Implement the phasing in and out of new/old materials as part of a controlled process.
- Purchasing, sourcing, and transactional master data and sharing forecast with suppliers.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in Planning, Procurement, NPI.
- Good Supply Chain and materials purchasing knowledge (process, metrics).
- Good knowledge in IWS, CI tools, and agile concept.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good analytical and digital skills.
- University degree (Supply Chain related major could be an advantage).
- Experience with ERP/Planning systems.
