Senior Clinical Pharmacist Opportunity

King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a leading healthcare provider seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Pharmacist to join its Post-Acute Medicine team. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services to patients across various specialties, including respiratory, cystic fibrosis, stroke, gastroenterology, diabetes, and elderly care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver clinical pharmacy services to post-acute medical and stroke wards
  • Develop and implement local guidelines for pharmaceutical care
  • Assist in financial reporting and drug budget management
  • Ensure seamless pharmaceutical care on discharge, liaising with other pharmacists and healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Registered Pharmacist with 1 year competency assessed and examined professional registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent qualification/experience
  • Working towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmacy Practice or Clinical Pharmacy
