Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a key role in providing clinical pharmacy services to our patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary teams to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services, including medication management, patient counseling, and education. You will also be involved in the development and implementation of pharmacy services, including the creation of clinical guidelines and protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients, including medication management and patient counseling
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines
  • Develop and implement pharmacy services, including the creation of clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Contribute to the development of the pharmacy department, including the creation of policies and procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the improvement of patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Postgraduate diploma or masters in clinical pharmacy or equivalent
  • Specialist clinical pharmacy knowledge and experience in cardiology and critical care
  • Extensive hospital clinical pharmacy practice experience, including experience in cardiology and critical care
