Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 7 Dispensary Pharmacist to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop expert knowledge in antimicrobials and infection management, including pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, spectrum of activity, safety profile, and monitoring requirements.
  • To optimise transfer of patient care through timely completion of medicines reconciliation and communication with GPs and community pharmacy teams.
  • To accurately and sensitively communicate medicines-related information to various healthcare professionals and patients, including those with language difficulties, physical or mental disabilities.
  • To support OUH dispensaries and liaise with external agencies for safe, timely, and appropriate supply of medications to patients.

Salary: £76,011 - £104,449 per annum, depending on experience.
